[QUOTE=foxvalley;160809]Looks like your having lots of fun with your new toy also! To bad your so far away, would make awesome video to go head to head with the two different track types, with pretty much the exact same unit

Thanks, that Would be fun to ride side by side and see the difference and compare under the same conditions but I'm not interested in winning or competing. I'm am interested in meeting and riding with a fellow goat rider. I'm all for having a good time in the great out doors.

Foxvalley, whenever you get that winter ride planned let me know. I'll be gone for some army training in February, but once I get back it should still be winter.

If any of you Minnesota guys go to Nemadji, you'll find plenty of trails with deep powder that I didn't touch. But I don't think it comes close to what I see in foxvalley's videos. I can only dream.

Will do breadstain. Snow is getting deeper here every week,we also have some pretty deep drifts,so I'm looking forward to making some more vids.
Every time I get on this setup,(HDI with the pro series tracks) i'm more impressed,as its going thru some really nasty stuff!

One quick question: have you ever managed to high center yourself on the really deep drifts?

Not that I can remember just cruising around. With 18" of track width on each side, they do a really good job of pulling you thu even the deepest powder.Tim should have some cool deep powder vids from the mtns. of wyoming.(utube under "avenger") But I have been high centered trying to climb up snow banks made by plowing, but I really wasn't high centered (stuck) most always you can back out. If you try to climb a snow bank,(or any steep slope) and your tracks start to spin, the aggressive cleats just dig in,and you sink down.
I only remember once or twice when I had to winch out of my swamp after getting high centered, and could'nt back out. I also got high centered on a stump, but once again, I was able to back off. It's kind of cool to be able to remember most of the times that you got stuck, cuz it just don't happen that much any more.
