  • SuperTrack Springtime question

Took the Supertracks off the Bigfoot last night; pressure washed them, set them to dry.

Does anyone bother taking their tracks apart, cleaning the pins and in between all the cracks? Seems like a heck of a lot of work, but might be worth it??

What about lubrication? Spray something on the pins to protect them from rust?

Any track storage preparation info or tips much appreciated.

    Kleen Rustproofing

Or similiar product that is a creeping rust proofer. Spray the links and the liquid will find it's way along the rods as it is a creeper. Recommend you stand on edge and spray along the edge. Should do the job and leaves a residual.

      Good tips

Would do better than just leaving them as is, sounds like a lot less work than taking them apart. Thanks.

I just give my tracks a quick wash, then roll them up and leave them beside my shop. Probably not the best way to do it, but havn't had any issues yet.

I have changed track pins 3 times, and never really noticed any signs of significant corrosion. Pins were worn out, not corroded.
