I wanted to shoot off of something dry. Shooting at the pistol range







It is also good for my 'woods walk' where I have clay pigeons set up at many sites to shoot at variable distances and around various natural obstructions. Argo was great for getting around, going across the frozen swamp instead of around today

looks good, I think I'm going to fabricate something similar. My brother and I use my argo to get to a remote shooting site up in Maine and it stinks there aren't any conveniences.

I usually clamp all of the stands to a bench but due to snow, the Argo served well

Burning powder on a woods walk! Sweet. If an old wooden ironing board falls into a state of possession it can become a portable bench. Used to see them at blackpowder shoots, often with a couple notches cut in an side to stand a long gun.
