  • Only One Side Moves when Stuck

This my first post, and I would like to say how useful the infomation I have gathered on here has been.

    I have a 2002 Conquest 8x8, with the 620 Kaw. and 13.5 Standard tracks.
My question is, when I get stuck playing in the mud and snow, only the left side of the machine spins. Is this normal or is there a problem?

If I hit the brake on the left side then the other side starts to spin.
It does it with the tracks on or off.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

That's just how an open differential design works. It takes some time to get good at breaking enough to engage all tires and not overheating the breaks while doing so.

Btw welcome to the site. You will get it down. Just find excuses to practice.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

Here is an older thread with a couple videos that will hopefully shed some light on the Argo wheel spin for you. http://www.6x6world.com/forums/trans...vs-t-20-a.html

Just as Drew stated...it will take time.....I have had my argo for 3 years and I am still finding excuses to go play in the mud....and still learning....
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.
