Congrats, that was quick. Nice machine, pick up a hood fan kit while you're there.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Nice machine....will have to put one on my wish list.....when I win the lottery....
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

Wow Plott, way to go! Looks like an awesome machine! How many hours? No, it will not run hot, cool as a cucumber as a matter of fact, but the hood fan will make it more efficent. While your throwing money around, better track it.LOL. I,also love the color choice!

When I was running the 10 or early 11 I did notice some heat build up at Busco running slow speeds in a line of 10-15 machines through the mud holes. There was a run of 11's and 12's that had a square muffler that is supposed to be more prone to heat issues.
The way it was explained to me was that all cooling of engine compartment was done through the engine fan, at slow engine speeds the engine fan can not move enough air across the engine to force the hot air across the engine cooling the exhaust. Low range for extended periods of time creates trans heat, that due to a lack of a brake fan, has a hard time escaping the engine compartment.
The hood fan should help to evacuate both, if your machine is to be used primarily in the winter you may be ok, if you get 90 degree days up there a hood fan is a good back up at least. Recently I had seen a 13 with a melted air filter cover from exhaust manifold heat.

I have been experimenting with both the 2011 HDI and now the 2013 HDI spending way more time than nessesary in low gear to see how much hotter the tranny will run, being told that you should only use grannygear only when needed, but I haven't seen hardly any heat difference between high and low gear.Granted, most of the time it wasn't 90 degrees, but on the flip side,I can't remember the heat bar on the gauge going up even one notch because of being in low.Don't get me wrong, you can get anything to heat up if you really want to....blow up even....but i'm talking normal use,and I never even came close to overheating with all my messing around. What I have noticed, however, is that the radiator fins can become easily clogged, especially with cattail fuzz, if you don't inspect your radiator once in a while you will most definatly run hot.I am a huge fan of the 31hp liquid cooled kohler, and with normal use, should run cool as a cucumber.

Removing the hinge will ease install if the mount and those dreaded nuts, unless you can task another set of hands.

Sharp looking machine! Sorry if I missed it, but are you doing a full top? And what other accessories are you going with? And what did you do with your Conquest?
