Steering Drift?

Being new to running these machines I was wondering.

Mine drifts quite a bit right. I seem to be making an adjustment every 100 yards or so. Running on ice snow bumpy stuff. I don't know what's normal ....

Should my tracked Bigfoot hold a pretty true line or is it normal for it to drift?

Unfortunately the drift is more the norm. Most of the time it is from tires being different diameters, and this can be minimized by adjusting the air pressure.
Other things can cause drag too like brakes hanging up, bearings, chains etc. It gets really hard to chase them all down, and soon you'll drive without even noticing the corrections.

My bigfoot did the same till I mapped out tire pressure per tire for equal circumference. I always keep the same tires on same axle as I change between tires and tracks.

Just to give an update. I took the Bigfoot out yesterday on a ten mile ice run. NO DRIFT to speak of... But I wasn't pulling my sled. Hooked on the sled this morning and made the same run and did some investigating. The tongue of my shanty is bent about 2in over its 30 in length. I think I found the issue.

Go figure.
