  • 6x6 Argo Chain Lengths?

    Hi everybody,

I picked up an early 70s Argo 6x6. It has the roll-pin sprockets that run #50 chain. The machine came without chains, so I'm going to have to guess for lengths.

Just wondering if anyone has the lengths of the chains of this machine, I know it's not too hard to judge chain lengths, but I think this way would be more accurate?

    Thanks

    Hi
U can work this out .
The place u will find this info is from a chain/ sprocket supplier web site [ pdf ] Try Matin , Renold , Diamond
U will need centre to centre distance of axles ,sprocket tooth count and chain size eg 30,40,50
Always add 10 links as this allows for mistakes and where the chains donot run parallel [ because of tensioner etc ]

What's the serial number including letters. A picture or 2 may help also.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
      Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
