Just got a quote back from the dealer in The Pas MB. Canada. Bearings, Seals, and Spockets for a six wheel argo, dealer priced at 12 to 1300 dollars. plus he cannot supply bearing flanges for the outside of the machine, or the inside two bolt flanges. For the price difference and after talking to a machinist where I work [He will regrind the sprockets for $50. each. All double row. All 12 sprockets =$600.] 12 bearings @$5 = $60, 6 seals @ $9. =$54. Bearings and seals are available through a local jobber. I think I saved about half price. Greggv.

Sprocket problem
I got some sprocket problem after one of my axel broke. I found a machinist and a place for bearing that carry a huge line of sprocket in his inventory. I found the right oner for me and the machinist grind the old one and weld back the new one... Save a lot lot of money New sprocket 120$can the hole job with the new sprocket around 60$... I will always change my sprocket that way in the future...

Sorry but you can't grind off any amount of material from the sprocket. What you will end up doing is changing the pitch diameter of the sprocket and render it useless. Not only will your chains not fit on them anymore you will be out $600 for something that will be scrap.
Sorry to sound harsh but thats the reality of it. I'm just trying to save you some grief. I suggest keep looking for your best price on some replacements.
