I got home today and no sooner did I get out of my truck I heard some cracking. I looked up just in time to get out of the way of this tree. We are having 50 mph gusts of wind today and that was one of them. Well I guess on a good note the Bigfoot came out unscrached. My truck, well not so good. Off to the body shop I go.

That sucks! Did it just damage the bed of your truck or did it get the cab too?

oh yea it had to get the cab too. When I got home I walked around to the passenger side to take my 1 1/2 year old daughter out of the back seat. I got the door open and started to unbuckle her car seat when I heard the cracking. I didn't have time to get her out so I slammed the doors shut and hoped for the best. We are fine. It scared my son the most and he was already 50 feet away and watching. Its not major damage to the truck just cosmetic. Afew good dents and some chiped paint. I have been driving that truck for 2 1/2 years and this is the first scratch.

Sorry about your truck,it is a good looking truck, just glad you and your family are ok. Lucky it didn't get your Argo too.
Looks like your truck saved everything else, better the truck than you and your kids.

Man, sorry to hear about that chappy! I hate to see that kind of thing, even to a chevy! Seriously though, glad to hear that it wasnt too serious and thank goodness the argo was safe!
