gas filler fix for old argos

i came up for a fix when the filler hose to tank leaks(at cap end)due to age.take the neck/cap with u and find a exaust reducer that matches the outer dia.,down to 2 inch O.D. cut the hieght down and weld to filler.get tank truck hose,2 inch I.D.ill post a pic or 2 on weekend.

heres a couple pics of my fix on the 78 6 wheel.2nd pic is the 2 stroke i just picked up same prob.rubber gets old and pulls out of the filler.my fix takes the hose to outside of neck,not inside the filler as stock.couldnt match the outer dia of orig hose,so idid it this way.no more gas on floor LOL.2 stroke getting the same

Good work! Theres nothing more annoying then spilling gas inside the tub!! (well, maybe oil..)
