Looks like a lot of fun! How do you like the Adair Tracks? Is that the pro series? Looks like they go through everything....thinking about putting some on sons 750HDI.
What did you do to the exhaust pipe?

Hey Chuck-the pipes were made by Robertson's Torque tubes. I told him I had an Argo HDI with a Kohler engine and he fabricated the pipes and sent them to me. I had a local muffler shop do the welding. As for the pipes-I am very pleased with them. They do a lot to help keep the engine bay cooler and give the machine a little more power. I think they sound really nice although they are a little loud. Here is a link to Robertson's web site:

As for the tracks-Yes they are the Adair pro series tracks and I wouldn't run my machine without them. I would guess they offer at least 60% more mobility and give you the confidence to literally take the machine any where. I wouldn't try half these holes with just tires. The one thing I will say about the tires is they do swim well and the tracks only get you about 1 1/2 mph so in pure water the tires are better but it seems that i am just never in a pure swimming mode. When you are in bad mud or mud with or without water the Adair tracks absolutely excel in every measure of the word.

2nd Video of our January 1st Ride-not as much action as the first-check out the way the Argo climbs out of the sand pit at around the 3:30 mark. The 1st mud pit is where they hold the monster truck races with 40 plus inch tires. It's a big deal for the 6000 pound trucks and they sink down about 30 or fourty inches in this mud, but as you can see it's not even a track turner for the Argo. What looks very difficult for a big truck is just a puddle to an Argo with Adair tracks.

                Dan:
Thanx for the great vids, they truly show the capabilities of the Argo with Adair tracks, nothing else is in the same league.

The Adair tracks where a game changer for the old 6x6 Conquest for sure, funny thing is that after you spend some time on a 4 wheeler you realize just how feeble they are in the mud. Oh by the way, nice sweatshirt Dan, don't know if anyone else noticed.

So true, having owned a couple of four wheelers I can say that I simply can't stand to ride them anymore. The bad mud trail that took me about three minutes to traverse takes a well set 4x4 up to an hour or more to move through and a 4x4 will get stuck several times just moving down what I consider a simple mud lane. But my favorite thing about an 8x8 with tracks is that you can blaze down trails, you don't have to slow down for brush or small trees, when you come to a large mud hole at speed you know that your machine is going to ski if the hole gets deep quickly and drops off, with a 4x4 you can literally break your neck finding the bottom of a mud hole at speed. I don't have to concern myself with getting stuck, I simply point the machine hit the gas and go. I don't get muddy and I don't get wet. What more could someone who loves to run off road ask for.
