There wasn't much info out on this guy when i bought it, so here is what i did:
I bought This Plow
And then the Argo Snow Plow brackets.
I had to open up one hole on each bracket (I did middle, i would recommend bottom to help the plow frame stay a little more parallel to the ground making the tilt function more functional) with a 3/4" drill.
One note, the plow is not a radius like a normal plow and not flat with 2 bends like is shown in the picture in the link. . . that was a nice surprise.
I'm running tracks, and we just got about 20" of snow over 3 days, so it got a good work out. Here are the results:
1) Frame from the Argo to the Plow Angle Mount is BEEFY!
2) The plow itself seems to be of decent strength, but i try to push as centered on the plow as possible because it seems like the Conquest could bend the plow if I really pushed.
3) The "Plow Angle Mount" (Ties the plow to the plow frame, where the plow angle is selected and where the plow overload springs moung) is not up to the Conquest. I bent it like a pretzel. The good side is, a replacement was only like $36 shipped. I welded some angle brackets to it to help stiffen it up and just got it back together today. It looks way beefer now, so i'll see how it holds up on the next snow. If this doesn't work, i'll buy another and fully box it to completely eliminate the failure mode . . . i just didn't have any 1/4" plate laying around today.
At the end of the day, it was almost 1/2 the price (and in stock) of an argo plow. Even with the need to upgrade the angle mechanism (if you have access to a welder), I'd say its a pretty good buy. If you plow a ton of snow every winter, you'll probably want to look elsewhere.
I'll post back later after i get some more hours in deeper snow on the upgraded angle bracket.
