I just moved my winch switch from where it was to on the left handle bar(not throttle). I used a brand new warn winch switch that I had laying around. my question is, if the switch was for a 2500 lbs winch will it work under load for an argo winch? (not sure of the size but it's bigger then 2500)?

If it's just a two way toggle that operates a switching relay you are good to go. The relay handles the load. -
it's the kind of switch that when you press it in/out it powers the winch then when you let it go it stops. it's the switch that comes with warn winches and mounts on 4 wheeler handle barsComment

Just three wires going to it? If so its controlling the relay and the load is not through the switch.Comment
