  • Avenger guys.

For you guys that have Avengers, does the off set rear axle help with turning on hard ground. My Conquest is a hard to turn on grass or hard ground with the tracks on.
Thinking it might be worth while to lift the rear axle on the conquest as well.

Interesting, had put a set of 21's on the rear of a Conquest which sported it right up some. I don't think it would work with tracks due to chain bind. Do you have plastic tracks?

As far as the Avenger (which I don't run) both the rear and the front are raised to aid in turning.
If one were to take on such a project there would be a ton of measuring and re-measuring to insure of the proper spacing, although the spacing is near 24" it may be mm so the 1" height needs to be exact aswell as that may be mm. For instance a couple of mm too far back/up and the chain wouldn't be able to be connected or may be loose from the gitgo. Again if one were to do so it would need to come completely apart so everything could be aligned so the sprockets don't wear uneven possibly eating teeth regular.
The front end of the machine, should one take on front and rear, would then sit lower in the water as the forward floatation ballast has been raised.

    A couple things to consider.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Yes, i have the plastic tracks, fairly new yet so they really bite on grass or dirt.
I'm thinking if i raised the rear axles an inch, it would handle alot more like a 6 wheel i had.
As far as doing the work, i pull wrenches for a living. always modifing things to suit my needs.

I went for a ride on an 06 Avenger, it was alot easier to turn even with rubber tracks.
Extra HP prob helps as well.
