  • Disc Plow and AATV :questionmark:

I have a question. I just recently bought a 97 Response to use for transportion on my lease. Has anyone ever tried to pull one of those small atv disc plows with a 8x8 or 6x6? Was wondering how well it would handle it or if it could.

There was a movie of exactly that on a disc that Argo were giving out a year or two ago. They appeared to be working under a powerline. You could try searching around on Argos web site

          why not?

I'm sure one of these would work well:

          King Kutter

          06 Bigfoot

I was just worried it would create more wieght than the hitch can handle and end up pulling the hitch loose or messing up the back of the machine.

If an ATV can pull it, an Argo can pull it. Last time I checked, Argos had higher towing capacity than any ATV's including the side by sides. My Frontier is rated at 1400Lbs and the Avenger is rated for 1800 Lbs if I remember right. Your Response should be in that ball park.

The "hitch", as you call it. it frame mounted on all Argo units. IF you pull it loose, you'd be tearing the machine in half!!
