Will this work???

Hi Everyone,
I just received a Cree Led Light bar for a birthday present. It is 120watts and I only have a magneto charging system on my 2013 avenger with Optima 1200amp gell battery.I seem to remember the system being rated for 14amp charge and the light bar would draw 10 amps.Will this work.?

It really isn't that easy. Look at the rest of your lighting and other accessory electrical draws too. Remember your charging system will only put out the maximum at high RPMs.....Do you drive WOT? Probably not. If you only use the light bar when needed you will probably be fine, but if you want to run it non stop it will draw from the battery.

Thanks for the advice Deedeelin & Buggyman I generally have a backup battery. I run very little at night except for plowing and I watch my voltmeter. I guess I missed the boat when I did not order my Avenger with an alternator.
