Have an 90"s Magnum. Restoring put new battery in got the headlights to work brake fan and battery meter. Now I can't get the headlights rear lights battery meter or brake fan to work. Checked all fuses all checked ok. Wondering if there is a rectifier some where or what else to check. Thanks for the help.

Check the ground going to the ground bar. May be time for a new one, so you could ground each system part to the battery and if they all work, well, there you go. The headlight switch may have to be activated a bunch of times, that may need replacing due to corrosion.
For some reason I'm thinking there was a screwed(holder type) in line fuse somewhere also. been a couple years since messing with a Magnum so I could be way off.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

I was going to check all that and low and behold it worked fine but just for alittle while. Now I 'm back to square one. I can get the bulge pump to work the interior light and the windshield wiper works along with the starter solenoid to click. The headlights have quite and the battery voltage gage alnong with the brake blower. The ground strip on the back firewall mounted to the body has 12 volts going to it not sure thats right. I'm going to go through it again. But if you think of anything Ill check back later. Thanks again everyone for the help.

I don,t know if you mean to say that the ground strap is live? If so that isn't right.

Schematics are on the home page manuals section under ec, there are too many variations to post one here. Go off your serial number and check the connection points. Sounds as if you have 2 wires possibly crossed.
