  • Argo 6x6 700cc and 750cc EFI models

I was in Griffin Georgia last week and stopped in at the Argo dealer to see what he had in stock. To my surprise I found out the you can now buy a 6x6 Frontier with the old style transmission with the 750cc EFI Kohler engine. What???? Top speed 22 mph, low range. What??? My biggest surprise was that the machine was being sold for about $10,700.
That's less then I paid for my MaxIV eight years ago! The Bigfoot with an 18 horse Briggs was a nice machine but an air cooled Kohler? More ground clearance then the old Bigfoot, a 23 horse power EFI engine and those very nice 24 inch Argo swimming tires?????

I am sure this machine would be the one to beat with a good set of tires (ASX-25 inch Argo swimmers-14 inch wide Vendettas-etc.)

I know that this is still a lot of money but this is one AATV that has gone down in price and that is some thing special these days.

I have never seen prices this good from the Big Two like this ever before. I applaud both companies for very competitive pricing and quality content as well. Its really hard to invest much money in an old machine when deals like these are out there. Way to go Big Two!

They have to offer machines that are competitive somewhat with the sidexside market. A full size Polaris Ranger is around the 10,000 mark. I have a 2012 Ranger 6x6 that I paid 12,000 for new.

I like the Frontier 8x8, but now I am wondering how an extra set of tires and the little bit more materials it takes to make the 8x8 equals another $4000. Don't get me wrong, I love the extra room my Conquest has, but that seems to be a big jump in price. And then there is another $5,000 jump from the Frontier 8x8 to the HDI.

I would love another 6x6 as my next Argo down the road if I did need the room.
