  • Frontier 2015 vs 2016

I see right know you can get a 2015 frontier with 2000$ of free accessories or a
2016 frontier with 1000$ of free accessories . Are there enough upgrades on the 2016
that would make it a better buy ?

your best bet is. if you are going to get an argo it is better off getting an 8 by 8 instead of 6 becuase the 8 by 8 is alot smoother and can carry alot more people, weight and has more hp. atleast get a frontier 8 by8 or another choice is the hd if you want something really good at a good price also.

The biggest difference is the Kohler EFI in the 2016's along with the seat material, we have one of the last 2015 580's with the B&S 18 carb. engines.

        Joe Camel never does that.

I have what I believe is a 2015 Frontier EFI.. It has the 2? HP Kohler Command Pro EFI engine in it. Not sure if there were earlier options, but I bought mine in December of 2014. Maybe a knowledgeable dealer can chime in with the answer?

For what its worth, I really enjoy mine, not sure what they did this year to make them better but mine seems to work great.

If the engine is the 750cc Kohler it is the 23 horse engine, if it is a 700cc Kohler engine it is the 19 horse EFI.

Yep, your right. its rated at 23HP. Strangely enough, my mower has the SAME engine and its rated at 26. Same model, different spec. Probably makes the HDI look better by comparison.
