Replacement choke Conquest

I have the lever style flip choke on my Conquest. But the lever broke off. So I ordered a new one. But it's the pull type. Argo says some dash modification would be required. Was wondering if anyone has done this? If so, what kind of modification is needed? Thanks for the help.

Flat washers, the hole is much beiger on the original cable.
