Not sure but the hoods seems to change depending on what motor was in them, the 82 in the link i sent you has a different hood than mine so i am thinking it has a different engine in it, but the body style is almost the same. just looked in manuals it looks like that 82 probably has a tecumseh engine in it based on the hood.

did some more searching and found that the 8 IC with a kohler power pack was considered a kb model and they were listed as from 1981-1986,

Yes they were the nk models them and had a 17 hp twin kohler I think (black )

Still trying to figure out what year mine is. It's an 8 wheeled IC just like the one in the 80s video (17hp Kohler) BUT THE FUEL FILLER IS ON THE LEFT!!! Haven't seen another like it.

Whats the serial #, I can look it up for you.
