  • Brake Lights Pull Lever 624-05???

I have a break light kit coming for the Bigfoot. I'm wondering if the lights need to be on for the brake lights to work.

No, Without lights on,when brake is depressed light will come on. With lights on,tail lights will be on also, but get brighter when brake is depressed. I like this option, and order it on most my units.Nice to have lighting behind the vehicle.

Thanks Fox, I do have tail lights. I can run on the roads in my county if I have a brake light. I hope to add the brake light kit coupled with my auxiliary driving lights to give me two complete headlight tail light systems. I like redundancy. : )

Watch this space for the install pics.

Hey Sol i just installed the kit but I mucked with mine. I wanted the lights to come on as I pulled each handle to act as a poor man's directional. My father was helping me with it and before I could even look at the kit he had it all pulled apart and starting to rework the wires for what I wanted. I have it set up so once the headlights are pulled on the tail lights are active once the laterals are pulled and the work side to side as I wanted. what I'm getting at with all this is when you get the kit can you post or email me how the kit is designed to work. I'm suspicious my assistant may have reworked all my light kit only to come back to the way they were originally intended. My father is retired and bored so when it comes to projects like that if I don't keep him reigned in he just gets a working. My kit functions perfectly and as I wanted but was it all for nothing?

yeah thanks guys I could have gone the factory route but went with the lights only on when pulling levers to help save power. I have an extra set of lights up front so runing all lights together would draw more juice than I'm comfortable with. All good. thanks
