Fuel pump noisy

2010 HDI avenger Argo the fuel pump making a buzzing noise,what would cause this problem and is there a different fuel pump that could buy rather than the 1 from Argo.

Kohler part # for the pump is 24-393-52S. I get them from kohler distributer. Replace the hi pressure filter regularly and if in doubt pull the tool box and the drop tube to clean the inlet screen. Usually when they start to whine they fail. A drop in fuel pressure of 3-5 psi will cause poor idle and low power.
