6 wheel or 8 ?

I'm all for the 6. If I had 8, there's no possible way I could travel inthe places I take it! The 6 is almost to big for some of the trails. I pack lite, and do not use it for long travel. It's perfect for my needs, but if I could get an 8 for family fun I would!

The main advantage of the 6 over the 8 is that it steers a little easier and is easier on the drive train to run with tracks. Other than that the 8x8 is definitely the way to go. If there is no chance you will want to haul much or ride with more that 2 people then stick with the 6. Otherwise, you will regret it I think.

Go 8
If you have more than 1 person you expect to go riding with you then go with an 8 wheeler. Your never regret the extra space. A 8 can climb a steeper hill safely, and offers a slightly better ride due to the longer wheel base. It may be a bit tighter in the bush but most issues in the bush tend to be width related and not always length. Just watch your a$$ end when turning in tight quarters.
The rear sits on a 6 are not fit for humans. Once the first time fun wears off, the bruises and lashing the rear passengers take, you will no longer have anyone who wants to come with you.
