Will this fan move enough air to make a difference?

Looks too small to be effective.

I recall that the Magnum always ran hot even with the factory's ducting in place.
Does it run cooler with the hood off? Remove the screen on the flywheel if it's still in place.
On the air exhaust side I'd remove the vertical bars on the air opening add a very open mesh screen if you want to keep debris from entering. You can do the same to the slots above the exhaust duct next to the hood

I did this on my bigfoot only slightly different. I mounted at other end or the exhaust box near the muffler. I use two and yes it helps alot. I also added on the sides of the muffler heat shield to trap more of the hot air to be moved out. My hood would get very hot to the touch after mods it gets warm to the touch. I would always be playing with the mixture control as a result of changing air temps around the motor. Now it runs smooth and steady even in the heat of summer. I added a strip that I run my fans to and have them mounted to a 3 position switch which turns these fans on and the next position adds the brake fan. This way I can sit idling not heat up and not draw hard on the battery like the brake fan does.
