Altenator kit for 2007

Does anybody make an altenator kit the 2007 Avenger EFI. I'll be seriously hurt if one is not available.

altenator kit question

thinking about installing an altenator kit myself. dealer want $300 to install and $450 for the kit. anyone have any pics on where it goes and how hard it was to install. does the tranny need to come out? Thanks in advance.

Alternator kit pictures

Hi tracmaster, i got a picture that i got on the web about an external alternator kit. I don't know on what kind of Argo it was made for.... It look like you need to remove couple of bolts from the tranny and put a bracket that will hold your alternator. The other thing needed is a alternator pulley that will bold on your engine to drive it.. I hope it can help you...

I doubt that it will be much more difficult than my conquest alternator kit. I paid $250 from a dealer in colorado for the kit and put it in myself. It was a slight pain but much better than paying $300-400 or more $ for the dealer to install it! The instructions that come with the kit are pretty thorough and relatively easy to understand. The alternator kit is well worth the money, I can tell you that. I upgraded to a full size optima battery and the alternator and have plenty of power for the winch and lights and whatever else I want now!

CoryAlaska.. Do you have a name or number for the dealer where you got your alternator? Prices i've been getting are much higher.

Goto your local pick a part and buy one off a geo or small car for 10.00 and your done! hooking it up is just a easy. I will post a pic later on my TB OH16
