chain play

Hi i just bought this 6 wheeler, i dont know much about them. i noticed that their was some play in the left hand side drive chain from the motor theres about 1/2 inch to 1 inch of play not sure if i should half link it i check the right side and its the same of play in it. should it have chain tensioners on it?

The chains on the front don't have tensioners on them. I hade the same problem when I bought mine so I went to the dealer and bought new chains for the front. Changing them only took about an hour. Pretty easy fix. Seth

Except as a temporary fix or for a very specifig reason (see Mighty Max), using a half link is never a good idea. Good luck with your new machine. What kind of Argo is it?
