  • bush trip?

new bearings, brake pads,chains,starter,oil,seals... should my argo be able to make a bush trip say 2 hours in the bush through mud and marsh? what are the chances my axles will break i have two new ones in the back and the rest are old style and im worried the old ones might soon give inwhats the worst that could happen?

Best thing you can do is start small, go for a 10min drive close to home where you can get towed back, then as you gain confidence in the machine progressively try tougher terrrian to see how it will hold up. Once you feel confident, giver hell... make sure you always let someone know where you are going and when you should be back.!!!

It's also a good idea to bring tools and a cell phone. In case of a bad break down, you'll have to either fix it well enough to limp back, or call a buddy with a machine that can make it as far out as you are, and back dragging the Argo.
If you can, ride it hard around your house for a while to try and break any weak points before trekking out.

i already went on two trail rides recently and only found some loose nuts and a bad wiring problem but thats it... so an axle wont break if caring a light load in the bush basically.....

Axles won't break unless you nail a stump or rock. Or catch youself on a nosedive with one axle. You should still be able to make it back home with a bad one, just pull that wheel off
