  • New to 6x6 World

    Hi everyone,

I am new to 6x6world... great site. I recently purchased and older Argo 6x6 and have been following the online forums here.

I have a couple of questions. 1) Where is the best place to get an Service Manual for my machine. 2) I currently have Goodyear Runamucks (that need to be replaced and I was told that they have recently been discontinued by Goodyear) most of my driving is in muskeg, sand and water. Suggestions for a suitable replacement tire.

    Thanks,

    Upland

Hi Upland and welcome to the amphibious forum .

Rockdoctor is a member on this forum board ,and he runs Argo Frontier tires on his Conquest . He says with the addition of the Frontier tires , its almost like a new machine , in the way it swims and performs in the mud and muskege . Plus they ride better too ! These tires fit an eight rim , but , they are pricy at $125 a pop !

Runamucks are still available, however, after Roc Doctor's testimonial on the new, LARGER, Frontier, I am saving up for a set for my Conquest. I'll be using my Runamucks strickly for tracks in the winter. Also, go to ODG.com to find your closest Argo dealer, they will have, or can order the right manuals for your specific machine.

      Welcome to the site!

          Welcome Upland

You can pretty well take most of the tips and info on this site as gospel. Nice to have you aboard and post once in awhile and put some pics on here. We all like pics and posts. I'm fairly well new myself but have dived right in on the conversations at times and have met a bunch of good folks on here.

          Anyway, again Welcome,

Thanks for the suggestions. We are heading up north for scouting/playing next weekend and already have the camera packed.
