What model Argo do you have? The carburetor is probably just being staved of fuel due to gravity. You may need to add an auxiliary electric fuel pump. There are a few members that have added them to their Argos. They turn them on before they start up steep hills. Search the forums, some of the threads should have part numbers and more details.

What Zuk said for sure E Bay is a good source for those or a RV place the gas Genny,s in most old coaches are electric fuel pumps and low pressure the "pulse pumps" that the Vanguards use are weak at best our Bigfoot we had was nothing but issues till we fitted a electric pump.NCTOriginally posted by Canadian_Zuk View PostMake sure its a low pressure pump, no more than 5 psi
