I know that there are a few posts about LED light installs but I had a couple of other questions.
I'm looking for something that will allow me to drive at night which is hard now as the plow blocks the stock lights.
I was thinking of adding two small floods to the front and one to the back so that I can plow and then just use the fronts for driving.
My concern is that there is a crap ton of lights out there and I assume a lot of coming from China and people are just reselling them. This makes it very hard to pick thru which are crap and which are good. You then run into the other problem of some stores charging way to much for the same product.
So Question 1:
Do you guys have any low draw flood Led that you are happy with? I want to make sure that it is a low draw as I do not need crazy light as I will be driving slow.
Questions 2:
I have not done 4x4 lights for a long time, last time was on a 2000 Xterra. This was back with the plate sized lights :-) For the install do you need to have it connect to a fuse or can I just go straight to the battery. I think with a harness I can just go the bat and just be carful to not leave the lights on?
I'm up in Canada so CDN dealers or Amazon would be ideal to order from.
