Argo windshields

Good morning, I am looking at buying a 2008 argo 8x8 avenger without a windshield. I have a 1989 vanguard 6x6 with a windshield does anyone know if my 1989 windshield will fit the 2008 8x8 avenger? Has anyone done this change out? New argo windshields are crazy over priced. Thanks

Argos are all 60 inches wide i think but where the windshield sits may be different im not sure

Thanks, for the info i didn't know that about 60 inch. I know when ordering new they have different model numbers but they all look alike. Someone somewhere must have moved a windshield from older model to newer? Please let me know.

The mounting is completely different, the shape of the frame and glass on the older windshield is larger than the Avenger style. Now while you could order the lower mounting pieces and probably adapt them a stock top would never fit, the windshield would also sit higher.
