  • Say goodby to another vintage Argo...

Remember, video can make any vehicles' condition look salvageable. This one was not. The drive line, engine and gearbox were the only usable parts.

However, being fibreglass, the top does have some good sections to use as patch panels for that late 60's resto! The entire rear half is definitely good. Contact me if interested in the fibreglass body remains (15 minutes west of the Argo factory).

Somehow, the floor of the tub survived the fire. I want to cut it out and attach it to my '76 floor which has a long tear in it (sharp rock). I planned on using about a million pop-rivets and sealer.

Is there a better way to sandwich the two layers together? What type of sealer should I use?

Forget the house... Let's see the Shop!!

Hope everything works well on the restore work. Its sad to see one go like that but, it will live again. Very nice video!

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

      Bookm'

I can recomend a calk called Lifecalk made by the Boatlife company. It's extreamly durable and made for marine applications but it's not cheap.
