Here it is, almost 3:00 AM, and I am so excited about my future Argo, I can't sleep. The thousands of videos just don't do it justice. As Bob Barrows drove it around obstacles, and up the hill, I really became aware of the potential of this machine. When I felt the response of the throttle, and the turning capacity, I knew that a life long dream was worth all the time it took to achieve it. I cannot wait until mine is configured and delivered.

I am hopeful that my machine will be here by October 1st. The beard took me about a year and a half to grow, and I have had it for about 15 years.

I hope you get your machine soon. Just curious how long have you been growing the beard?Originally posted by scimanstev View PostI didn't ask the price, as I was too focused on getting the configuration of mine established.

It was owned by a lady who had several of them, and died, so there is virtually no hours on it. It is older, but brand new.

It's actually older, and a European model, with side mirrors, horn, turn signals. I can't remember the year, but that one is for sale. I didn't ask about the price, but riding in it, made me smile so much, my face hurt. We went up a huge hill, across it, then down a 60 degree incline right through the bushes. Mine should be delivered to my house by October 1'rst. That was more fun that I could have imagined!

I am about 30 minutes from home. We are just getting back from Barrows Argo, and I am very impressed, and not only saw my first Argo, but road, and drove one. This was one if the best days I have had in years.

I think I just hit the jackpot!
I was looking at the local TV station news, and saw that in Northern NH, where it is legal for Argo's, they have a yearly event.
Thousands arrive in North Country for annual Jericho ATV Festival
It is today and tomorrow, so there is no way I can go without my yet to be ordered Argo, but next year, I'm there! I downloaded the trail maps, and it turns out that there are 1000 miles of connected trails. Tomorrow, I will visit Barrows Argo, and make plans to order a highly customized, red Argo! I had no idea that this place would be so good! I can hardly wait to find the deepest mud pit, and drive right in with my Escargo tracks!

Experience with snakes does allow me to read a snakes body language, and stay safe. None of my snakes are venomous, although I have dealt with venomous species. I have one female albino Burmese python, one regular phase female Burmese python, one male and one female Northern Pine snakes, one male mid-baja rosie boa, one female red tail boa constrictor, one female Dumerials boa, and one one female Taiwan Beauty snake.
Saturday is the day, I see my first Argo!

Cool beans...what kind of snakes do you keep? I like them but have no desire to keep them...they are fascinating creatures. I have watched a lot of youtubes from "viperkeeper" very interesting how close he gets to his Gaboons and it seems as though they are well within fatal bite distance! I guess he knows how to handle them well enough!Originally posted by scimanstev View PostI just got a call from Barrows. He said he was switching over to his cell phone. I feel better, as he is only 1:45 away from me. I made an appointment to visit him next Saturday, so maybe this will work out just fine. At any rate, I will get a chance to actually see an Argo in person. Up to now, it has only been pictures and videos. I will see what I see. Now, I have to start mowing my 5 acres, and cleaning my snake cages. My excitement is growing as August 13th gets closer, and the new models are released. Once I get my Argo, not much will be able to keep me out of it.
I do have 8 snakes, and have kept them since I was 8 years old, about the same time the Banana Splits first showed me a 6X6.
