So another question. on the parts manual it says for mid chain it would be rc50x2x70p. would the 70 be the amount of links or would that be how many inches it would be.

It would be the number of links. When replacing chains, count the links as opposed to measuring the chain as the chains will stretch with wear.

never mind figured it out. also I found 50' of chain for $344 canadian
