frame rail sliders

anyone make their own frame rail sliders for Argo frame to prevent chain wear through the frame? im not paying $7 for an Argo frame slider

Curtis, I bought them for my Conquest, they are well made, they will last a long time. When they ware threw, you just slide them over. But that is not your question, on my OX I went to Lowes and bought heavy hose and clamped it around the cross member, it is working fine and real cheap.

yea,good idea with the hose i will go that with some plastic water hose!
