  • New 25" Argo tires in brochure!

I went to my local Argo dealership and picked up a 2009 model brochure and on pages 4 & 12 there is an Argo Avenger running tires which have a tread design which I have never seen before. The pattern is just sideways bars that slant at an angle. I have seen alot of tires and this is a new one on me.

Count on ODG to come up with innovation again. I am really tired of waiting for the tire companies to at least throw one tire out to Amphibious ATV riders. Goodyear has been there for us all along, Carisle and Nan Kang have offered half ass chevrons for along time and now I do not believe you can get Nan Kangs and the Carisle tires are all 4 ply which are king of hard on the ol bottom after awhile.

I do not own an Argo currently but I am on the hunt.

We saw a quick glimpse of those tires on a video that someone posted a while back. The video was filmed a Argos test track. I think someone said they had spoke to a Argo rep and the rep said that it was an experimental tire that didn't meet their expectation and was dropped.

The Argo Frontier tires are actually made by Carlisle so don't bad mouth them too much!

I`m hip, but aftermarket needs to be addressed !.

Carisle did good. There are alot of tire companies out there that pander to the 4X4 quad low-brow mudd spuds. There seems to be quite a few 6x6 and 8x8 atvs now-a-days and we are treated like one off freaks. I am keenly aware of tires that are made for use by skid steer ATVs and the Argo tire by Carisle is the only new idea in a long time. Sure would be great if everyone on this site would get together and bend the ear of a few tire companies to itch our scratch.
