Never owned an Argo looking at buying a 2002 Vanguard
hours are little over 100 per meter

Because this will be my first Argo to be used on hunting property I am looking for some knowledge before I even go look at.
I have done a ton of internet research but it is all over the map and this seems like a very knowledgeable forum.

6x6 means less cargo space vs the bigger 8x8. heard good things about the vanguards along with their reliable engines. top end speed will be about 35km. Argos have big 32 liter tanks for long running time. parts are costly,strict maintenance will give you many hours of reliable operation ignoring maintenance procedures will leave you with a lot of grief. basic machines when you understand them you wont regret getting one once you first drive one

Thanks for the link. If I read that correctly if it is a 2002 then is would be a Vanguard II?

nope they both went until 2007 but the van II had hydraulic brakes and the van I had mechanical brakes.both had 16HP briggs vanguard

My concerns about Argo Vanguard is only tire size...maximum tire siza us may be only 22x11x8 ! These is main ISSUE with Vanguard. I like to instal 24x12x9 but, these is not posible . That's why im looking swap fore Argo Bigfut, or any 6x6 model compatible with maximum tire size.

i have a 1999 vanguard, most reliable most fun machine ive ever owned. it gets used pretty hard on my maine property, 100 acres of mountian/river/ ultra steep grade climbs and mud. cant say enough. good luck with your purchace you cant go wrong my wife has a honda pioneer side by and i pull her out of trouble constantly
