Has anyone experienced their brakes seizing only after they heat up? My steering works fine when starting out but after a few miles the left brake seizes up and pulls the argo to the left. The caliper pistons move freely if I push them in but after a short distance the Argo (2008 Avenger 8x8) will start to pull to the left again. I rebuilt the master cylinder but the problem persists.

Restriction in the flex line?
After the seizing starts try cracking the bleeder open and see if it still drags.See my photos here.

Thank you Craig B. Your suggestion to release the hydraulic pressure by cracking the bleed screw provided the clue. Pressure was building up on the system and the master cylinder was not allowing the fluid to run back in. I had adjusted the plunger pins to position the end of the piston flush with the casting as directed by both the shop manual and owners manual. When I backed the plunger pin off a little bit the brake released. The pistons (both sides) are are now sticking out of the casting about 1/16" and all is well.

my old conquest does the same, but it happens on either side depending on which side of the hill i am on, and clearly basically when we are going out to keep things straight on the steep hill we have a left hand bias on the way out and the brake heats up, and on the way back the other side heats up. On other grounds it runs fine and i think it is simply the topography that is the issue. When we stop for 5 minutes it is all fine again. I have an avenger as well now so will see how this is effected by the same ground
