I bought my Argo in 2017 and then I put about 140 miles on it. It is an 8 x 8 frontier scout with a ADAIR tracks. I have an accessory winch and an outboard motor mount. Mounted on the back is a mudskipper mud motor. I use this motor because we are in shallow sandy or muddy water and an outboard can’t handle it. Last Saturday I ventured out on the river with a current of perhaps 3 to 5 mph depending on where you were. The Argo was running and I was standing behind the backseat running the mud motor to navigate between many downed trees. Coming into a curve the mud motor quit and then it hit a submerged log which caught it dead center in the side which pushed it up into the air and the Argo filled with water immediately and flipped over. This happened in about three seconds. It happened so fast that I couldn’t turn the Argo off or grab my lifejacket.F5A02A8C-B51B-4FC6-A1A9-3E73AD642B5D.jpg07D2C616-2BFE-47CD-B8FC-6CB7A3A5FFD0.jpg

That sucks, glad you are ok. Currents are your enemy and the low vents and entry points are a major concern when in water.
A good cautionary tale for all amphibious users.
Again, glad you're ok.sigpic
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
