    Hi anyone know if operating in low gear on the older transmissions (1992 model) for extended periods harms the gears.

    No. For sure not. Admiral trans are a different story,90% or more of all driving with an Admiral trans is best in high gear.

      the only thing i could see is slower speeds and using more throttle therefore increasing chances of getting hotter or even overheating. but very unlikely its just a thought

        Most of our customers that purchased 15 or so Conquest for salt marsh usage ran low range exclusively with supertracks.
