here's a short video of center half-tracks on my ox. I really like center half tracks and will probably run this way this fall.

Cool Buzz like the idea of dual half tracks, been looking at replacing my heavy rubber boots with a grouser bar type,I run a 03 Avenger and run the 23 inch tires but have availability to smaller so going dual half tracks interest me,the big rubber really suck power when the snow gets wet and heavy and double the issue with a load Iam going to do some measuring tomorrow and see what I can clear even if I went down to 22,s,thanks Buzz great info.NCT

no prob. If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone with 8" rims for tires in the 22-24" range. It usually means going to a 10 or 11 inch wide tire as there aren't many options wider than that. At least not in my quick search-about. One that interested me was called the 38-special in 22x12x8, which would have fit the 12" wide crossers I had lying around. Instead I went with a 12" rim and a 24x12 tire, but gave up quite a bit of buoyancy ( I think ) in doing so.
