I don’t blame you one bit! That’s darned cold! We have ice fishing shantys here so we just use the Argo to get out to the heated shack. In crappy weather I use a towel to keep the windshield clear and I do have a manual wiper as well.
Hope the heater works out for you!

Also you can install a muffin fan in the left side of the bulkhead to blow air directly in from the engine compartment.
With your design you will need more tubes and insulate the assembly to prevent heat loss. If you flatten the tube on the muffler side you will have a greater contact area and may not need to build a oven around the muffler tube assembly. Conduction of heat is more effective than radiant heat.

I know someone who is going install air vents similar to the Argo brand heater vents in his Avenger dash/firewall and hook them up to 3" bildge blowers (inline fans) to blow air from the engine compartment into the cab. Similar to the ideas shared but it will look like what Argo provides. Seems like a good way to go as long as you don't have an exhaust leak. Very similar to how the do it on small airplanes.

So the 12v heater didn’t cut the mustard al all? You would think you would get something out of one. Maybe one that is robust enough would be too much draw on the Argo’s electrical system?

I find the 12v heater pulled way to many amps and the motor could not keep up. Well I got it almost done and it actually works pretty good . Still need to do a few more tweaks to it
