Both sides pull good on flat ground. When I get in the mud the right side has little to no power unless I apply brake to left side wheels. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the site mvp111. I'm not an Argo guy, but isn't that the way its supposed to work? I think Argo's have an "open" transmission which operates like an "open" differential - the wheel(s) with the least resistance get the power. Thus, by applying the brake to the spinning wheels forces power to the nonspinning wheels.
In your scenario, the right side has little to no power because the left wheels are spinning. Thus, applying the brake to the left side forces power to the right side.

I agree that it sounds like normal Argo behavior, but if this is a new and different feeling, my gut tells me it is an issue in the brakes. grab each rotor by hand and see if you can rotate them freely. Check over what liflod mentioned. also check to see if 1 or more wheels are spinning inside the tire.A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

I don't know my Argo timeline very well. is an 87 splined or pinned axles? if it is pinned, I would look for one or more broken pinsA well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
