  • Argo support?

Started out today assembling my 18” rubber tracks and ran into a snag with measurements not aligning with the instructions I was working from. According to the instructions, I needed to cut the tracks (for a 6x6 Frontier Scout) at 185” from one end of the track. The instructions said this 185” mark should fall just in front of a tread lug and it doesn’t fall there for me. 184” fell just in front of a lug and if I had to pick the next lug to match the picture I would have been around 189”.
Needless to say I wasn’t going to cut my brand new tracks short. I called Ontario Drive and Gear and spoke with a nice lady who forwarded me to customer support. No answer so I leave a message and my number. Hours later, no call from them. Why am I not surprised?
I then call the dealer I bought them from and got a person that did his best to help me out. Turns out he thought the instructions I had were too “new” so he found some from 2015 and they were a lot different than what I had in front of me regarding how to CUT tracks for a 6x6.
Long story short he emailed me the “old” instructions which had me cutting the tracks by a completely different method and a different ( longer) length (188”)
I cut them According to this method and started assembling parts.
Thanks for nothing Ontario Drive and Gear!

The guy that would call you back, left ARGO in early November. That's why your call was not returned. The leadership is dealing with all there talent leaving over the past year. Sad to see.

No support...not a good way to run a company that sells very expensive toys.
I can’t believe the number of different sets of instructions I have for their track kits and they all differ slightly.
Thank heavens for the dealer support I received.
