I am about to buy 2004 argo avenger what should i check

Hi i am about to buy a 2004 avenger with 150 hrs on it. , what are things that i should check ? And any problem area's that i should check to make sure everything is functioning correctly, i took it for quick ride and it seemed to be okay but i only drove it for about 100yards..thank you for any input

Other than the normal checklist I would ask if the handbrake has had the upgraded cable kit installed, not a big deal if it wasn't though it does help with the amount of squeeze pressure needed to stop the large machine.. They are very capable machines in the hands of the right user but there is a learning curve coming off a T-20.

Hi,
Take a floor jack and jack up the front of the Argo. Put a piece of plywood on the jack end so it wont damage the under body when lifting. Do this at each end of the Argo. Check for movement in any of the axles if there is subtract the price of a new axle and bearings and seals from the purchase price. Hope this helps.
