there has been three times I've had to change my pant when I got back to my camper. One was at Pismo climbing a tall steep dune but didnt have enough speed to clear the top as I was sliding back down my Argo suddenly turned and thought it was going over and I was realy wishing i had roll bars. But for the most part I think they would just be something that would make it harder for me to get out of. and they say not to use roll bars if you going to go into deep water couse they make the Argo top heavy.

I can tell you it's not easy getting out from under a machine with no rollbar The couple of feet of clearance a rollbar provides would have been really nice Not to mention it would have been easier to flip the machine back over.

I ended up making a simple roll bar from 1 1/4" galvanized pipe and some 1 1/2' by 1/4"angle iron , turned out pretty good I think , thanks for all who replied to the post

                That was cold!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

The bars look pretty good. With that down angle towards the front, you could add a bikini top or roof and get some protection from the sun or rain as well. Good Job Gary.

I don't know why JRP3 can't see the three pictures though

Am I the only one who can't see them? I tried with 3 different browsers and none of them showed anything?

Branches are a concern so I may add some screening or Plexiglases in places.

good time to check for cracks etc
