ROPS angle iron kit ideas

I picked up a ROPS bar today for my avenger for $500, Only thing he sold his argo and left the angle iron kit on his. Of course argo wants about $400 for the kit Any body now how thick it is ? I can buy angle iron and drill my own holes. Worst cause I can use the guest bedroom bed frame

I do not have the ROPS on my Argo but I do have a custom rack I built. I built base with 2in. x 2in. x 3/16 angle iron and went completely around the machine. I used pcs of 1/4 x 1.5 in as large washers under Argo tub rim. I welded pcs of steel as gussets to support my 4 post. Someone mentioned that there would not be enough movement as the Tub is designed to flex. My setup flexes quite well and I am on my 5th year and no cracks yet. Hope this helps.
