  • 1970's argo 6x6 idler chain removal

Hi started pulling apart the argo today and ran into a problem. Pulled out the 440 motor and I am trying to take out the power pack assembly but cannot get the idler chains off . I thought that they would have master links , unless I am not looking good enough, trying not to break stuff cause I am sure parts are difficult to buy/find. Anyone know if they do have master links or do you grind down the link and replace.

Often times the visible side of the connecting link is on the inside of the chain. You can always cut and replace as they are likely worn.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
