Does anyone know if a soft top from a 8x8 Conquest will fit a 1987 8x8 I/C? I know the windshields are different so that might be an issue. I have a chance to pick one up but I don't want to buy it if it won't fit.

The top will fit the machine but as stated it is made to fit rounded cornered windshield.sigpic

So can I install it without the windshield on? I'm not familiar with how they are braced on the inside. I know it is snapped to the windshield so that might be out. What do you think?Comment

If your windshield has square corners I'd expect a puncture, if it has rounded corners then yes.sigpic

Thanks Jim. I think I'll pass on it. It's not like I need it anyway. Unfortunately I only log about 10 hours a year on it as it is 325 miles away from my home.Comment
